Compliance

A control your regulator, DPO and auditor can accept

Shadow AI Security is built for organisations that must evidence how sensitive data is protected — not just state an intention in a policy document.

Standards and frameworks we support

  • UK GDPR
  • NHS Information Governance
  • DSPT Aligned
  • UK AI Act Ready
  • Crown Commercial Service Eligible
  • BSOL Eligible

UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018

Pasting personal data into a public AI tool is a disclosure to a third-party processor, often outside the UK. On-device redaction removes the personal data before that disclosure occurs, supporting data minimisation (Article 5), security of processing (Article 32) and your lawful basis position.

NHS Information Governance

Patient identifiable data stays inside the organisation. Enforcement evidence supports IG incident reporting, Caldicott Principle assurance and local information governance policy on the use of generative AI.

Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)

Provides demonstrable technical control and staff-behaviour assurance against DSPT data security and confidentiality standards, rather than policy statements alone.

UK AI regulatory expectations

Aligns with the UK's principles-based approach to AI — safety and security, transparency, and accountability — by giving you a recorded, auditable control over how staff interact with AI systems.

DPIA and risk registers

We supply the technical detail your DPO needs: data flows, processing locations, retention, and a clear statement that content is never transmitted to us.

Regulated-sector production readiness

Change control, versioned releases, rollback procedures, security contact and defined support response for organisations that cannot tolerate uncontrolled change.

Procurement routes

Crown Commercial Service eligible

Suitable for buying through public sector commercial frameworks, giving central government, councils and NHS bodies a compliant route to purchase without a full competitive tender.

BSOL eligible

Eligible for Birmingham and wider regional public sector purchasing arrangements, supporting local buying commitments alongside national frameworks.

We will supply security documentation, a DPIA support pack and standard contract terms on request during procurement.
